Anyone know where to find information on the most effective ways of growing your vBulletin community. Beside Google ads/ tags. Does vBulletin offer any resourses and direction in this subject?

I have another question: Before I purchase this software, I wanna know if it is possible to screen registration myself before people can become members. For example: I am running a medical proffessional based forum and will only allow licensed medical proffessionals. Would I have then email me their medical license number or is there a way to have that placed on the registration form?
