One database... Multiple sites

Would it be possible to have 3 different sites, that share the same member database but each site has its own content?

I know I'd need three separate licenses, but i want users to be able to go from one site to the other retaining their same user name and post count.

that is not part of the core functionality of the program. it may be possible through either creating your own hack or, if available, downloading one through http://www.vbulletin.org.
