Flagging threads open, closed or info...

Client wants some forum software and vBulleting looks like it will do nearly all he wants.
However he wants each thread to be able to be flagged as 'open', 'closed' or 'info'.
(Doesn't have to be those specific words, but something similar.)

I don't think vBulletin can do this, but I may well have missed something.

    Any thoughts??

    Thanks
    Steve

What do you mean? You can open or close threads. If you mean something like prefixes, that will come in vBulletin 3.7. Is that what you're referring to?

Something like the 'open', 'closed' column in the attached screenshot.

Something like that would have to be done via template edits and/or other customization. However, when 3.7 goes gold, you could perhaps use the prefix system and some template edits to replicate that effect easier.

If you want/can wait for 3.7 (or even you can risk to use the beta), you can achieve that with thread prefixes.
