losing customar number

My friend has a problem that he lost his customar number and he get a license from a company but he can't get the license again from them , what is the solution ?

License number isn't the same thing as customer number.

Besides, anyone with access to the files can get the license-number....

Only the official affiliates can sell licenses directly, that is, their localized versions.
Those are vBulletin-Germany and vBulletin-China. The rest, ie. English, has to be purchased from this site, and this site alone.
