vBulletin Add-on Products; What's It Gonna Cost

Anything vBulletin offers always comes at a price.
we all know you guys aren't JUST going to offer the new blog and social networking addons to us licensed customers for free out of the goodness of your hearts, so what's the catch?
    What's it gonna cost us?

IP.Blog costs $50, so I'd imagine it'd be somewhere around there. Maybe between $30-70. We won't know for sure until its released though.

Would it hurt so bad to just give it to licensed customers?

They spend money to develop and support it, I dont htink its much to ask for a nominal sum of money to keep it and future products in active development.

Why would a business release something that will cost them development and support and then give it away for free ?

Nothing is free in the business world. Costs have to be paid.

Around $50 per Product is ok imo

Depending on how feature rich the products are.

tricky here, ImpEx is not a "PRODUCT" in the line of what we're discussing here... it is a "script related"... ImpEx can't be imported in the vB core like all the other products we have with the 3.5 line...

I'd have to agree with nexialys here - I wouldn't consider ImpEx to be a product, but a script.
