Pre-buy question: It this good enough to host vbulletin

HI, I am sold on vbulletin for better security reason, now the hosting part...
    Info from my host admin:
My host account come with a "cusomized" version Red Hat Linux 7.2
    PhP 5.1
    MySQL 4.0.1
Is it good enough to install vbulletin on it? Should I be worrying about the "customized" thing since I have to install vBulletin myself, they only support phpBB preinstalled, and I am new to Linux.

    thanks,

    thanks,
Your Mysql version is a little old. Vbulletin 3.6.1 requires at least version 4.0.16.

Don't suppose you can tell us the name of the hosting company so we can look up its reputation?

Redhat 7 is insanely old, customized or not.

Yup Red Hat 7 was released 6 years ago.
