Question about PHPBB and vBulletin

I have two phpbb message boards. One is very healivy modded and the other other is not. Does a heavily modded board take longer to transfer to vBulletin than a non-modded one? About how long does it generally take for someone to transfer over to vBulletin?

Transfer to vBulletin is usually a simple thing with its ImpEx system. But if you have got modifications installed then you must:
1. Recode the hack for vBulletin or download it (if exists) from vBulletin.org
2. Convert the data to vBulletin yourself.

Hacks for phpBB will not work with vBulletin.

I just finished importing a non hacked phpbb forum to vbulletin and took about 20 minutes. However I did create a test forum first just to make sure I wasn't going to run into any problems. The ImpEx system is excellent!

Thanks for the info guys. I think I might try just the non-modded one for now. I certainly dont want to install all those mods again!!

Well what are the mods? Are you sure that functionality isn't all built into vB?

vB imports phpBB and attachments.
