This site missing today's topics and new topics from some sections

Normally you can access today's topics and new topics from any page of the forum.

Last night the forum closed for a short time, I assume for some work, now you can only access them from the home page. If you are in a section or post, they don't show.

A few screen shots to show what I mean, taken on mobile and desktop view.

It’s because the site has been upgraded to 5.4.0 RC1 and it appears there’s a bug with tab highlighting. The wrong tab gets highlighted and that tab has no Todays Posts link. It’s being looked at.

It seems to have resulted from changes made in VBV-12833 and VBV-17750
