Unsure if this is something which requires a JIRA.

Can it be added manually? Not a huge fan of having to scroll to the bottom of the index page to mark forums read.👍 1Comment

I'm not sure if the JS code for that was also removed but you can add the link back to the nav bar. Just set Target URL as # and Link Attributes as class="navbar_mark_channels_read".Comment

It relies on Javascript and rarely worked in the Navbar which is why it was removed. If it was accidentally removed previously, it couldn't be added back due to the way it was implemented.Translations provided by Google.

Because the functionality was duplicated using the methods from vBulletin 3 and 4. Plus if something isn't fixed in three years, especially an easy fix, the chance of getting it fixed is low.Translations provided by Google.

Well, the amount of time taken to remove it would have probably be the same as the time taken to fix it. So I don't see the chance of getting it fixed is low just because it hasn't been fixed in 3 years.👍 1Comment

And I have posted a code for the link to work in other pages and Mark B picked that up and posted it in his demo page.

If your code works I might add it back here as one of our custom plugins.
Apparently you can still use the link at the bottom of the (some) pages, but thats a poor place for such a link (IMO).
Baby, I was born this way👍 1Comment

Upgraded sites should keep the existing link as well. It was probably manually removed from this site.Translations provided by Google.

Code does work. I'm using it on www.talknewsuk.com. The Mark Channels Read link in the sub-navbar works on every page.Comment
