    Global Current Activity Bug?

I wasn't exactly sure where to put this, because it happens on all vBulletin forums, including here.

Sometimes when viewing a thread, user profile, or user album, instead of the activity being Viewing Thread [Thread Name], Viewing User Profile [User], or Viewing User Album [User], it just says Viewing Attachment.

That activity name should only be used when you're actually viewing attachments of something, so why does it do this?

Again, I wasn't exactly sure where to put this since it's on any vBulletin forum, but if this isn't the right place, let me know. I can also provide screenshots if necessary.

Probably does it when an attachment is loaded in content or a profile. Frequently occurs. The Who's Online is supposed to give a general idea of what people are doing, not provide tools for stalkers and it is never 100% accurate down to the second anyway.

I noticed SEGA Forum doesn't have this issue, but that's probably because they have attachments disabled.

Anyway, I apologize, Wayne. I wasn't trying to sound like a stalker. I was more curious than anything, and I've been meaning to ask for a long time.

I'm sure there's actually a tracker entry for this somewhere but I doubt it's seen as much of an issue.

Agree with Wayne's comments about the "stalking" aspect of WOL, it's something I've wrestled with a few times on my site. If I had my time again, users would not be able to view the WOL page but it's so ingrained in the site after a decade I cannot get away with removing it.
