Stolen licence key

I had a licence key stolen from me about a year ago but the person who stole it changed all the information on the licence. When I emailed vbulletin asking for my licence back, they said the licence was not mine it belonged to someone else and to get in touch with that person. I showed vbulletin the purchase receipt from my email address clearly saying it was me who paid for the licence and all my old information but they still refuse to give it back. I tried recovering the licence number but I can no longer access the files. Any suggestions on how I can retrieve it?

You need to work this out through your existing support ticket. However if the license it not in your name and you can't provide the ownership proof we request than there isn't much we can do. An email receipt is not considered proof of ownership because they can be easily modified.
