    Hello,

I am probably being a bit of a fool here, but I am trying to work out how I can upload a profile picture to his forum?? Can anyone point me in the right direction?

    Cheers

Click your profile and hover over the avatar there.
I'm not sure if you can do that when you're not a licensed customer though - do you have a vBulletin forum? Or are you planning to start one?

I'm wondering is there's an easy way to change the default avatar, the grey face, to another picture?

Replace the existing image with your new one in the file system.

            /core/images/default/default_avatar_medium.png
            /core/images/default/default_avatar_large.png
            /core/images/default/default_avatar_thumb.png

            Replace all these via ftp.

On your site, simply right click -> view image info (could be slightly different on non Firefox browsers) and you will see the path and file name of the file on your site.

I would first rename the original file to something like default_avatar_medium_backup.png then replace the image with the same original name, which is a .png file. Also note by looking at that image there may also be a

              default_avatar_small.png
              default_avatar_large.png

So you may want to update those to (always backup the original files)

                Thanks that's very helpful.

I found the files and how to look up the path now.
Problem is it's not easy with 3 different sizes, I converted the picture I wanted to png, but it's too hard to make them 3 different sizes aswell so i'll leave it.
