Seriously? You're back to using session IDs? Didn't you stop using them after vb2?

We've always used Session IDs, even in vBulletin 3 and 4. However they should not be present in URLs at anytime. If they are, then there is an issue somewhere. However note that in some browsers, a timestamp will be appended to URLs after logging in. I don't know the purpose of that timestamp and there is a JIRA to remove it. As it doesn't cause harm, it isn't as high priority as some other issues.

When I clicked through to the forums from the Member Area, session IDs were showing in URLs for the first few clicks through forum pages: s=[number string]

      I thought I was on vb2 again.

May be something specific to the member's area. It hasn't really been updated or refactored in many years.
