So while major websites are switching to HTML 5 and even Microsoft is doing just that are you then really comfortable to say its not finished yet.

Effects like that makes the software look modern. XenForo and IPB have such details. I miss that in vbulletin.

Well stuff like that is terribly simple. I think it was 1 or 2 simple lines of code added to the JavaScript.

Te official roadmap by the w3c for the introduction says something like 2020. So I don't quite understand the haste.

Yeah, they decided to just roll features into the current standard incrementally, and call it HTML instead of HTML5.

But they will call it HTML5 regardless. They should have just renamed it to Web Markup Language.

How did you address the issue of the ajaxed postbit being able to quick edit it without a page refresh?

I didn't do anything special... the default setup lets you quick edit without a page reload. I'm just intercepting the normal AJAX insertion and adding an animation that does it.

Try it here, the site comes back without the proper information to submit the response, its been a very long outsanding bug since vB3.

Even though its a small edit: Could you please enter it into JIRA? And post the link here.

AJAX quick edit and quick reply works here just fine for me. Maybe it's a browser-specific thing?

The bigger problem is I use jQuery on my site for other things, so it loads every page view... and the stuff I did uses jQuery. So until vBulletin starts including jQuery on every page (or at least the showthread.php page), it's not going to work.
