Connecting with Blackberry (Blank White Screen)

I have a symbian/Blackberry/windows mobile, will you support me?

....except blackberry. This has been well known by vB for quite a while. I cant believe you have completely and totally overlooked one of the most popular handset types. Blackberry's have a strong foot hold around the world and a huge amount of users in the UK. It should really have it's own app, but to not support it at all on the mobile site is nothing short of idiotic.

It is a 'feature' of the new Mobile Style, it doesnt support non 'WebKit' Browsers.

Ian, as you will have seen by my comments in the bug report I am not only shocked, but actually quite offended this bug has been listed as 'minor'. 34.5 MILLION blackberry units had been sold in 2009, we are now in 2011 I imagine the number of blackberry units out there now top 100 Million+, especially with Tesco pushing these heavily of late in every store. To say blatantly you don't give a hoot is quite insulting and elitist (iPhones are not for everyone, a good fact to remember)

Forum end users do not hang around on vBcom so if this bug is listed as minor based upon voting then I submit your process is lacking common sense in this regard.

What version of the Blackberry OS? Only Blackberry 6.0 and higher are completely supported. Blackberry 5 is supported without AJAX functionality.

We're using jQuery Mobile Beta 1. The newest is RC1. I hope its upgraded in 4.1.9 but you might get better results on your site if you make the change now. Some people say replacing the beta 1 javascript with the RC1 javascript resolved many Blackberry issues on their sites. However this isn't supported yet and we wouldn't make that change here until it is tested.

I don't see an option issue on this in JIRA so you should create an issue and provide as much information as possible.
