Long story short, I would say people are smart about loyalty. Only be loyal to those that are loyal to you.👍 1Comment

Hellman and Freidman to the best of my knowledge has not expressed any desire at this point in time to change vBulletin's development or policies
Should that change at all, communication will be forthcoming, and bear in mind, this is all pending the transaction to be approved by our shareholders and clears regulatory processes
"Without a doubt, we would miss many of the friends we have made along the way. INET will miss the brilliant, 11-year Chairmanship of Howard Morgan. (While we will lose a great Chairman, we retain a great friend.) We will miss the support and inspiration from all of our friends at Idealab, from Bill Gross, and from our terrific Board of Directors. We will miss some of the loyal shareholder relationships we have developed."
I really hope that going private again will help vBulletin, and I hope the right people that know what vBulletin is, will help move it forward. While it might be to late for me to have any trust or loyalty left, it would be a shame to see more change for the worse, rather than this acquisition being for the better. I still have enough friends who run vB that at the moment aren't considering moving along due to the heavy investment into the product. And i am hoping the posting experience on their sites will improve, rather than degrade *again*.Comment

Floris, changes to our shareholders, and the Board of Directors that represent them does not have a direct impact on vBulletin's development or policies, nor does it have a direct impact on vBulletin staffing, so I stand by my original statement.AdrianComment
