    fb Connect looks like a zit!

    The fb Connect button just looks awful.
    Looks like a zit on a forehead.

    On my screen it's the last thing to load and just draws your eyes to it.
    Maybe if the color matched it would be different.
    It just looks like an after thought.

            Color scheme is wrong. I understand there is a limitation on the graphic used. It loads after the rest of my page.

              I think it loads last because it involves a call to another site.

                It must be coming from Facebook's CDN.
                The facebook feature is adding a fair amount of overhead to pageloads.

                That means there are two additional DNS lookups and unfortunately not all of the files are using long expires headers.
                If you read it online, it must be true.
