I've never had it enabled as it was in over 7 years of running vB forums but kinda liked it once I'd used it on here for the last wee while.

Would prefer to see it back too.

Wasn't it changed to require a click so that it doesn't break threaded and hybrid modes?

I'd like this enabled again as well
or give us an option in our usercp
it's a lot nicer to be able to just reply to a post, vs clicking a button to reply

Yes please, add the quick reply back without clicking, it isn't that much clutter.

I also agree, the abilty to quick reply without clicking, or at least for it to be an option is a must

I think they have it enabled because they allow you to view the threads in hybrid mode which needs you to reply to specific posts. Before they upgraded to vB4, you were required to click to reply, they've just gone back to that. (But I guess we all easily got used to not having to click to reply.)

Please don't PM or VM me for support - I only help out in the threads.

vBulletin.com has always required a click to activate the quick reply. The behavior in previous beta releases was a bug that has since been fixed.

I like how it's hidden until you make the click, though.

I wish the Quick Reply box had a different colored tab and layout. It's sort of hard to notice in a crowded thread when it's the same color and size as a post.
