Time to lauch a full vB4.0 category forum

Request to moderators: Don't you think it's time to start full vB4.0 Category with forums like:
    1. vBulletin 4.0 Questions, Problems and Troubleshooting
    2. vBulletin 4.0 Installation and Upgrades
    3. vBulletin Impex Import System

I know it's still in Beta; but it just so overwhelming to read unorganized forums flooded with vB4 threads on steroids. Why not to do it as for vB3.8? It'll have to be done anyway, right?

That will come with the Gold release. We will also have to do a lot of other reorganization.

Ok. Hopefully, CMS will get its own category.

Why? It is part of vBulletin 4.0 and would be treated as such.

What about Blog then? There is Blog Category already... and Blog is a part of vBulletin 4.0.

              OH YOU ARE SO SMART!
The blog category is under the 3.x branch, and just like Steve said, the forums have to get reorganized.
              <insert rolleyes here>

The PT category and its subforums can be merged into 1 PT sub forum, the same with blog. Both can be under 3.8'x legacy category. After 3.7 and below have been moved into archive.

Hopefully the 3.8.x series isn't forgotten in the meantime- 3.x is still a fantastic product and I hope to see it supported for as long as possible!

I agree strongly with Wayne and Steve here.

It's not sold seperately anymore. So I would say it would be in problems and troubleshooting. I would suggest that if you want help with any of these things that you would be better off not being so rude to the guys. I know from experience.

i like it when people make suggestions on how corporate-sized projects have to be driven.. they can not even have an ounce of ideas of what's behind the scene, but they know everything everytime...

drive your forum, let the others drive THEIR forum how they think they need to.
oh no, i'm not going with Xenforo... come on, i'm better than that... i stick with Wordpress... rofl

I don't know where in my posts you guys saw rudeness; nevertheless, the blog category is definitely NOT under the 3.x branch. Just have a look. I find it confusing that there are two separate places for blog discussions, suggestions and troubleshooting. Imagine a newbie navigating through this.

Mind you we are in "Site Feedback".

                          Definition from Longman dictionary:

                          Feed back:
                          - to give advice or criticism to someone about something they have done.
-advice, criticism etc about how successful or useful something is.

I would suspect that the Blog and Project Tools forums will be archived during reorganization. All discussion about vBulletin 4.0 whether it is forums, CMS or Blogs should be in the vB4 beta forum. All bug postings should be in the vBulletin project.

I think they are already overlapping. When being archived, some threads will have to be moved to vB4 I guess.
