    is vb.com using sphinx?

I did a search for keyword "problem" and the results from the search were like:
    problem, problems, problematic, etc.

The only time I've seen results like that were on vb forums that were the search was being enhanced by sphinx.

    thanks

vb.com's post table size is actually fairly small; it's using the default vbulletin search and post and thread tables are innodb. You can check out sphinx search on sites like http://www.honda-tech.com ; http://www.corvetteforum.com

Maybe vb.com should be using Sphinx... When searching this vb 4.0 gold forum for "sphinx", "
          Search took 34.23 seconds."

Hmm... So if my forum has even more posts than vb.com, I'm pretty much forced to look elsewhere for a search solution

Didn't v4 have the search rewritten to be ready for the suite and big-boards so this problem is fixed?
