Text spilling out of its container

When opening vbulletin.com/forum in IE8, text spills out of "currently active users" container. In FireFox it's displayed correctly.

Please post this as a bug if it hasn't been already. Click on Projects in the header.

Please upgrade your browser to the latest beta of Camino. The shipping version of Camino is based on the Firefox 2.0 engine which we will not be supporting.

Unfortunately for those who use IE8 it is dodgey and full of bugs.
You might want to try another browser such as Firefox or Opera which are both pretty good browsers.

Selecting compatibility mode in IE 8 fixes most issues.

Not using IE fixes nearly all issues. My advice is to stay away from it like the plague that it is.

So, now you just have to tell that to more than half of my user base that uses this browser
Now, seriously, such style issues need to be fixed, no matter who is responsible. Lamenting that it's all IEs does not help, neither does telling everyone who reports an IE related bug to simply not use this browser. This is foolish, since you can change the browser yourself, but your users are out of your control, and you have to provide for them, not yourself. Simply changing the browser away from IE when browsing those forums is bad advice - rather report found bugs, so they can be fixed.

Schwab will never learn that obviously...

There's a bug on the go for this at the moment and still confirmed in B2.
