    Reply Privileages Disabled.

Have the permissions been changed in this area? I was able to reply to a thread before.

I just tried to reply in this thread and received the following message.

shelley_c, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:
    1. Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
    2. If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.

Still can't respond. Is their a chance this could be account based and a restriction on my account? I wouldn't know unless someone else tries to respond to a thread in the area I mentioned.

Edit: That will be the reason then. Thanks for looking into it steve.

You can't do that. They have to be posted to the submissions forum first and checked and approved by staff.

We never allow replies in the download section .. it's a download section.
We had discussion threads for graphics and languages, etc. This way it stayed clean.

Now we have styles with replies, but languages with separate threads, for example.

i'm not experimented here, i started posting only because someone said i was stupid... so proven his point.... rofl

btw, you are right, people tend to not read announcements, that's why vBulletin now include notices...

People who do not read the header or footer of a site,
won't read announcements or sticky threads,
a notice in the top won't make a difference,
and that's based on experience and case studies I've done.
