    An Affliation program

    Hey guys,

I was thinking that maybe you guys should look at getting some sponsors for an affliation program for those who don't have a credit card or can't afford to pay so much for your software.

You have got people in their teens who are joining up and who are looking around at re-sellers and at dodgey deals all because they can't afford or don't have a credit card.

What are your thoughts on this?

Mate I am being serious here.

I think that it is important that the guys should be looking at something for those who can't afford to buy a license.

You only have to read about some of the options that some people in here are trying to go for but are being talked out of because it will hurt them.

Would you prefer our members to be scammed by some online bidding websites and not have anything here as an alternative and snob those who don't have a credit card or can't afford to pay for a license?

VBSEO have an Affilation program for those who can't afford things.

          Ok, well..

          1. Wrong place to put this, try the chit chat section or managing your community.

          2. If they cannot afford your software, then its simple, save up for it. Thats what i did with vBulletin, took me a month, hasnt been a problem since.

          3. Sometimes affiliates look to get a lot out of you for an affiliate programme, sometimes it just isnt worth it.

That the risk and hassle outweighs any benefits provided.

We do however have an affiliate program for licensed customers who want to promote vBulletin and make a small portion off of each sale.

???? what a load of garbage. The affiliate scheme allows product owners to promote vBSEO and earn a commission,it has nothing whatever to do with "the poor and needy " or those that cannot afford the product.

vBulletin already has an affiliate scheme as do 100'000's of other companies, they are not run as a welfare scheme.

To make any-kind of money from an affiliated program, you need to have a huge site that get lots and lots a visitors per day. And if your in that situation already, this doesn't even come into play.

For somebody just starting out trying to make money from an affiliated program. Would take them that long to make enough to buy vBulletin. They'd have a long grey beard, be bed ridden on a liquid food drip, and knocking on deaths door at 99 years old.

It's not that simple, and money just doesn't fly your way like that (anytime fast).
