Is there some 'unscheduled maintenance' going on with the .org and .com sites? They are both giving me intermittent database errors, 'site unavailable' warnings, or just being dog slow.
vb.org and .com in trouble?

Even ThePlanet could not give me an answer about this. Can't say I'm terribly impressed with their level of support.Steve Machol, former vBulletin Customer Support Manager (and NOT retired!)

I'm surprised you guys are still on ThePlanet. After the Houston datacenter meltdown a year or so ago, I thought they were pretty much toast. I spent the better part of three months after that moving people off of ThePlanet and just can't justify sending anybody back to them again. The main problem wasn't the meltdown, it was the customer service response to the issue.
I'm directing all clients to ServerBeach now, and have had nothing but positive results.Anybody who says "it can't be done" will usually be interrupted by somebody who is already doing it.Comment

Well they could just say there is a problem and its being investigated, then people would know its not their ISP or something.
TBH, I simply dont think they have got used to thinking about using twitter for anything yet.Baby, I was born this wayComment
