That looks similar to my forumdisplay.php file too.

I'm terribly confused, you are the host but you are viewing the files on the account that you are renting out?

      Terribly confused? Or facetious?

In addition to a paid hosting business, I run a free hosting business as well. Software piracy is something free hosts need to be diligent about preventing. I make a habit of visiting each new site or at least those that consume any bandwidth. In this case there was a vBulletin installation without a copyright. I thought it odd that there would be someone who paid for copyright removal and then used free hosting. So yeah, I looked. Every host in the business looks at files on their servers. When I get a report of a suspicious process from LFD you bet I look at the script in question. How do you think I find a Rapid Leech or warez installation or hackers? When I get an abuse claim I look. Do I randomly scour my servers and peer into files? No. But I lease these servers. My hosts could shut me down without warning if there's a DMCA complaint or a spam issue or a child porn complaint. I have a responsibility to every site that I host to make certain that they stay up. On a VPS I could care less unless an issue arises but shared hosting is web space and not back up space. Every file is supposed to be web accessible, not there for private storage. Do I query people's databases or read their mail? No. I have neither the time nor the inclination. But monitoring what's happening on thousands of accounts on multiple servers is a hands on job at times.

I was confused. I had no idea exactly what was going on from the posts and no idea the constraints you are working under.

            Thank you for the information.
