    I consider the vbulletin documentation
    1. not clear enough
    2. lacking in some places
    3. misleading in others

I consider the answers on the vbulletin forums
    1. often not from the vb people, thus, doubtful
    2. too slow
    3. often incomplete

    should I go on ?

To each of those, how, and how can we improve it? What can we epxand on, what can we fix so its less missleading. If we don't get customer feedback how can we be expected to meet your needs?

        Zachery,

with due respect, I did point out in the past many issues with the vbulletin documentation, and I did not see any improvement.

If you promise you would take the necessary steps to clarify problems I point out in the documentation, I would gladly go and search and point out again.

You should make comments on the specific pages where you feel there are issues. We can then incorporate the changes that you want to see.

Yes, that page has already been updated to mention variable scope which was the root of your problem in that issue.

I did not know that page was updated. no one told me that anyone cared about my remarks. I would have expected an answer on my thread discussing this issue.

Now without going to any technical details, the solution described in the doc did not work when i tried to include an external php file on every post... kindly note :

We do not inform people every time we update the manual. It can receive updates daily as we fix issues and change things so that is more clear.

I have split this off the previous thread since it has nothing to do with advertising templates within vBulletin.

Because that is how PHP works. There is no way for us to change that.
