    Add a "Solved" prefix

    Hi there,

Previously, I have spent a lot of time reading other threads in attempt to find information to help me resolve a problem which I was having. Some of the threads may be quite long AND may not actually come to any resolution.

To prevent people wasting their time reading threads which don't have a resolution to them, I think it'd be beneficial to add a prefix in the "vBulletin 3.7 Questions, Problems and Troubleshooting" forum saying "SOLVED". Obviously the prefix would need to either be added by the thread poster, or by a Moderator.

This idea is used on Ubuntu's own community forum's extensively, and I personally find it extremely useful, and I see no reason why it couldn't be used here.

For an example of its usage, I suggest checking out Ubuntu's forum which is linked below. You may have to scan through the pages to find one though.
All your general support questions for Ubuntu, Edubuntu, Kubuntu, Lubuntu, Ubuntu Budgie, Ubuntu Cinnamon, Ubuntu Kylin, Ubuntu Mate, Ubuntu Studio, and Ubuntu Unity.

    Thanks for reading!

I prefer 'Fixed' and that seems to be what most people use. Is that okay?

I think 'Fixed' suits bugs more. 'Solved' is very suitable for both questions and troubleshooting.

Is it possible to change the prefix after the thread has been posted? (I still work with 3.6)

Yes, that is how thread prefixes currently works, there's no way to only allow them on eg. edit.
