    Possible WAREZ advertisement

Just got this via pm from a new member with no posts. Their name is PixelSkins.

I changed the prefix of the email to prevent harassment and/or possible sales for what IMO, are probably illegal copies of skins.

The reason I believe it to not be legit, is due to
    1. the domain name for the email, vs @extremepixels.com
    2. the fact that this person is offering skins at prices which are not offered at www.extremepixels.com itself.
    3. using email for the transaction instead of the actual site's purchasing system which creates member accounts, tracks purchases and offers support.
I wasn't sure where to put this post, hope it was the right place, and hope I did the right thing. Not 100% certain of course that this is not legit/legal, but it seems to have quite a few red flags so I thought I'd bring it to the staff's attention.

And if it is legit, I prefer not to receive solicitations here at vb.com by 3rd party companies, although I know of no way other than disabling PM's to prevent that (something I'd hate to have to do).

That's spam, scam attempt. If it was from the owner of the site the paypal email wouldn't be from extremepixels. I know Pank, and this is not how he runs his business.

Thank you for reporting this to us, I've banned the user.

@Staff, what about changing this in the usergroup permission:

Maximum Recipients to Send PMs at a time

And set it to 1 if it's already 5 - this should make it harder for spammers.
