what happened to vblite? did we do away with that?
reason im asking is i've been trying to get these guys i know to convert their p.o.s. site to vb/vba and instead of TALKING, i thought i'd SHOW them what their site could look like. money is an issue with them, and i had even offered to pay for their vb if they were to actually USE it instead of the crappy setup they got now.

if i remember correctly, the vblite was the free version. i have my own vb (current) and im thinking it'd be ok to install another copy solely for the purpose to SELL them the vb/vba idea. i was just lookin to do it with the free version primarily.

imma give ya'll about 15 minutes to reply (cuz ya'll are just that active) and then im just going to move and create it with the latter idea.

ok, i just saw the camoflouged link to the vblite at bottom and read how it was disc.
so, im going to do this with a copy of my current version, then delete after i show them what we can do with the vb/vba software.

by the terms in vbulletin your allowed a test forum

setup a new forum "test_vb" or something and give them people admin access... let them play around with it etc..

actually i forgot that we can have a test forum, i always just make sure the hacks work by reading ALL the replies to a hack on vb.org before i install it.

ya they really should upgrade too a beter forum as that one seems to be the bot infested one that somehow randomly spams people forums too point that it crashes

The license agreement allows you one test installation. This has to be in a folder called testvb and may not be publicly accessible (through password protection with htaccess for example).

colin: im just waiting on their yes that they've seen it, and i plan to delete it TODAY regardless if they have or not. it wouldnt be the first time ive wasted my time to do something for someone.

seangworld, it doesn't matter how long it is, as a breach of the license agreement it could potentially have repercussions on your license.
