feedback on the new forums of project tools

People who own a vb license can post in the support forums of project tools... I consider it a bug.

I suggest adding new usergroup for members who own both vb license and project tools license to be able to post in the support forums..

Sorry but we have no plans at this time to do so.

But now I guess I can get support for the project tools though I haven't purchased a license for it.

We know - and we don't consider it a bug. Thanks for your concern.

That's incorrect. Because if you have not purchased it, you won't have support questions. Unless of course you've pirated it and that's very easy for us to find out. If you ask support questions but your customer account shows no license for it we can assume you run a pirated copy and we can revoke your vBulletin license. It is not in the best interest of the customer to abuse the system obviously.

Thanks Floris for pointing this out. But I never mentioned or considered pirating it.

If a user posted a thread in the support forums, will you bother yourself going to members area to see if he purchased a license or not eveytime?

I did not mean you .. just giving an example Of course you won't pirate it. Thanks for your feedback on this system. I've also expressed my opinion about it internally at our last support staff meeting.

I always use fixed theme, so there is a little visual bug in this forum:

                Juste a little to large

Because of the long title of a report there.

Another inquiry: Will Jelsoft hire new staff members to give support for the PT or the staff already exists will handle this too?

                          Nosy, aren't you

The same staff will support both.

                              @ Mazinger:

I can understand that you're a full of energy young chap, & that you're so excited about vBulletin & it's overall community. But, the way you're expressing these energies are really not going to take you any further, either on these forums or in your life in general. You will not going to be an official part of Jelsoft. Period.

Recently, I've spotted you asking so trivial questions about HTML & CSS in the forums, so I thought I would advice you why not to invest some of the so much time that seems available to you in learning these two languages? It would be really most beneficial to you, & maybe the community you're excited about as well!

I hope that you don't take this personally as criticizing.

You're spending millions of dollars on a website?!
