    Differences

    Hi!

Is there a page where I can see the differences between the 3.0.x, 3.5.x and 3.6.x series? I'm running 3.6 myself, but why would you want to run an older serie?
What's the difference and advantage of it?

There's not really any advantage to running an older version. In most cases I'd say people think it's too big a hassle to upgrade.

There's no page listing the differences, but you can look through the announcements for each version to find out what changed.

      Ok, thanks for your reply.

vB is one of the fewer companies that keeps supporting older versions and providing updates for those . I think that's a good thing.

The updates for legacy products (2.x, 3.0.x, 3.5.x) are merely security updates. No new features are being added.

I know that. But many companies just say "ok, we have a new productline, old one is not supported anymore". And sometimes you even have to buy a new licence.

So I think what Jellsoft is doing, is a very good thing.
