Members Area Suggestion

Passwords to login to computers are kinda silly, it's not hard to bypass a password. In most cases, people fail to realize but the administrator password isn't even filled in. So boot > safe mode > username: administrator with a blank password and presto! -
Isn't it still possible in firefox (not ie) to load a htaccess login through
http://user:[email protected]
You could bookmark it.
Note to everybody: If you store it in your browser to have it remember it for you, or in an obvious document, or bookmark it, or whatever helps. PLEASE realize the risk of security here. If you for example use this on a laptop and it gets stolen or you walk away in school and someone temporary plays with your system .. they have access to your members' area. So make sure you use it in the right circumstances.Leave a comment:

As has been said, you can bookmark links that include the username and password. We will not be allowing users to choose their own passwords.Leave a comment:

Yeah I have it in a notepad document that I reference when I need to login, but those suggestions will work too. I was just throwing that out there and was curious to see your responses.Leave a comment:

Click "remember username" in your browser when logging in. That is what I do.Leave a comment:

Hello,
I just had an idea for the Members Area. I think that you should allow customers to use their e-mail address as the username and then choose our own password. It would just make it easier instead of having to try and memorize my customer # and password - or open up a notepad document/e-mail to get it when I need to login the members area.
Just a thought, you guys probably have a good reason for having it how you do but I was just throwing it out there.
