Passwords to login to computers are kinda silly, it's not hard to bypass a password. In most cases, people fail to realize but the administrator password isn't even filled in. So boot > safe mode > username: administrator with a blank password and presto!

    You could bookmark it.

Note to everybody: If you store it in your browser to have it remember it for you, or in an obvious document, or bookmark it, or whatever helps. PLEASE realize the risk of security here. If you for example use this on a laptop and it gets stolen or you walk away in school and someone temporary plays with your system .. they have access to your members' area. So make sure you use it in the right circumstances.
Unless off course you have a password on your OS so you have to log in before you can use the laptop / pc .

As has been said, you can bookmark links that include the username and password. We will not be allowing users to choose their own passwords.

Which is fine if they're all yours but if you set up and run them for other companies who need to be kept separate...

Alright, makes sense. I like the bookmarking method, so I'm going to go with that. I didn't even know you could user[email protected] - that's pretty nice to know.

    Thanks!

That's what I do, since I'm the only one using my computer, it's all ok .

AFAIK, it was deemed a security risk and disabled.

Yeah I have it in a notepad document that I reference when I need to login, but those suggestions will work too. I was just throwing that out there and was curious to see your responses.

I just had an idea for the Members Area. I think that you should allow customers to use their e-mail address as the username and then choose our own password. It would just make it easier instead of having to try and memorize my customer # and password - or open up a notepad document/e-mail to get it when I need to login the members area.

Just a thought, you guys probably have a good reason for having it how you do but I was just throwing it out there.

    Thanks for reading.
Just save it or print it out. This way you don't have to memorize. I've yet to memorize it.
