  • Htaccess

    Hi!

When I go to http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/includes/ (for example) it gives me a HTACCESS dialog. But: how have u guys done this? I mean, the includes folder should be available for the included files. So how can u protect a directory from entering directly, but not from withing the webpage?

Or is there an other situation?

Included files are accessed directly, the .htaccess only protects against access through the web server.

Images are called over the web, so you couldn't htaccess protect them.

Which of the other (non obvious) folders can be protected?

            I have:

            /forum/admincp
            /forum/modcp
            /forum/installi
            /forum/attach

            What about this?

            /forum/modules ?

              That's not a vBulletin directory.
