It was down for almost an hour. Freddie rebooted the server.

Is it just me or is the server down an awful lot lately? Or at least the website is. Doesn't seem to be for very long periods, just lots of short periods. It's only a minor annoyance I suppose but not the most searing endorsement of the forums to those who are not familiar with the ins and outs of server issues.

After the long downtime I only felt one short downtime.
Of course we're doing our best to prevent this, as it's not in our interests either that the site is down
                      Best Regards

I've never actually seen it go down since the update.

It does slow down during the backups we run during the night and it slows down for a few seconds every 10 minutes while we run some cron tasks.

Just curious, it was something hardware this time or some kind of apache blocked ?
Couse it's something that happened to us in the last few times, Apache suddently got stucked and I can't restart it other than reboot the whole server (Suse).
