vBulletin and Data Managers

I was wondering why vbulletin doesn't use data managers in their own script.
Is this because you don't want your code to end up like IPB's with confusing classes?

vBulletin already does use its own data managers... why else would they write them?

I haven't look through every file but I haven't seen "Setting the existing data" in any of the ones I did look through unless I missed it.

We use them everywhere, hence why we created them. They are only used for updating data though, no fetching.
