    Question - Versions

    Hello,
I was wondering to myself why you guys jump from vb 1 to vb 2 then to vb 3 then now to vb 3.6 or vb 4?

How does this work and whys it in this way?

    Thanks

    Its just a question

We all get in a room and get a big dartboard with versions, wherever the darts stick thats the number

    or

When we re-write core code that changes something fundamental we bump the first number, when we are simply improving features we bump the second number and the last number is just the maintenance release number.
