maybe added in response to this thread???
A few months back, I wanted to create a not-for-profit site devoted to supplying people with free vbulletin styles/tips/discussion etc. I submitted this idea to the vBulletin team. The response: No. You may not use these domains, as they have our trademarked name in them. We have to protect our trademark. Fair enough. NotComment

AFAIK, sites using the word "vbulletin" in their domains are runned by official people, generally for unoffficial business and having the word vbulletin in the domain can only be used by Jelsoft personnel.
People can get around it by using the word "vB:ManagerJosh, Owner of 4 XenForo Licenses, 1 vBulletin Legacy License, 1 Internet Brands Suite License

I am asking because there are a few of them that I personally dislike, the main one obviously being vBseo. Did Jelsoft give vBseo the nod?Comment

Jelsoft can't Trademark "vB" cause if you change it to "VB", it can be implied as visual basic.ManagerJosh, Owner of 4 XenForo Licenses, 1 vBulletin Legacy License, 1 Internet Brands Suite License
