Forum width

Change the style to one of the liquid ones.

Nevermind - I just found that the default skin is this fixed width thin display - now altered mine.

But why have such a screen waster as the default ?

Whether or not is is a screen waster depends on the individuals computer. The default is set to be fixed width at a value that works in standard 800 X 600 displays.

Well I doubt the majority of people run 800 x 600 these days - but surely the "liquid" skin would work on that size anyway, so I still don't understand the reasoning.

It doesn't really matter - the "liquid" display works fine in 800 x 600 anyway - so why make the fixed style the default ?

Go to user CP, (nav bar)
Edit options (left hand menu) then scroll down to miscellaneous options where it says forum skin. Just select the one you want.

You can also scroll to the base of this page, there is a style chooser drop down box, where you can change the forum skin.

In control panel I don't see edit options

On your own site? Style Manager > stylevars > main table width

on this site? footer on each page.

It is already at 100% but there is a space on the left side of the page just like in this forum.

I see other forums with no space on the left

How can this be done?
