i found some areas been closed like cron area = tasks
could you expain why

Probaly for the reason that you dont need to edit or add any crons to the system.

As Zachery said these aren't really needed in a short term demo. If open, they could be used to cause security issues on a server though. The areas that were closed down were closed off to protect the integrity of the vBulletin server without jeopardizing the Demo experience in a substantial away.
