First, off, I want to say that I like the new images. Sure, the smilies and post icons don't look very professional, but I think they look cool anyway. If they were plain and boring they wouldn't look nearly as good. The buttons, IMO, are also a great improvement.
I would like to use the images, but I cannot as my site uses a black background and I do not posses a copy of Adobe Photoshop. I can live with this though, as the old beta images are good too.
However, other administrators who have waited until gold to upgrade to vb3 don't have the choice of using the pre-release images. Perhaps these images could be made available for download in the members area for these people?
