    "Thank you for responding to the poll" Upon reply?

    I'm using 3.7.3 and my users are getting this message sometimes when they reply to a thread, not a poll thread. Appreciate any help.

    Let me know if I need to provide further information..

    Hmmm...don't see hot that could happen with the default vB. Did you do a previous import with Impex by any chance?

    To troubleshoot this, first reupload all the original vB non-image files (except install.php). Make sure you upload these in ASCII format and overwrite the ones on the server. Also be sure to upload the admincp files to whichever directory you have set in your config.php file. Then run 'Suspect File Versions' in Diagnostics to make sure you have all the original files for your version and that none show 'File does not contain expected contents':

    Admin CP -> Maintenance -> Diagnostics -> Suspect File Versions

    [Note: In some cases you may also need to remove any of the listed .xml files in the includes/xml directory.]

    Next, disable all plugins.

    Note: To temporarily disable the plugin system, edit config.php and add this line right under <?php

    define('DISABLE_HOOKS', true);

    Then if you still have this problem, create a new style and choose no parent style. This will force it to use the default templates. Finally empty your browser cache, close all browser windows then try again. Make sure you change to the new style and view your forums with it.

    Do you have the same problem?

          No, disabling plugins will not result in data loss.

                    Did you follow the instructions in post #2? If so this would appear to be a server issue. You should contact your host.

                      Hey Steve,
                      Happy b-day ol' boy. While trying to solve my issues I got hit with this DB error.

                      Invalid SQL:
                      SELECT featured.*, classified.*, user.username, user.userid
                      FROM vbclassified_featured AS featured
                      LEFT JOIN vbclassified AS classified ON (classified.classifiedid = featured.classifiedid)
                      LEFT JOIN user AS user ON (user.userid=classified.userid)
                      WHERE ((featured.dateline_entered + featured.featured_length > 1252029969) AND (classified.active = '1') )
                      ORDER BY RAND()
                      LIMIT 1;
                      After seeing this I'm thinking I have a bad file in my vbclassifieds?
                      Thanks Bud!

                        That is an error from your vbclassified add-on. You need to contact them about this.
