Projects: 'do not have permission to access this page'

I've just installed vBulletin (3.8.1), followed by vBulletin Blog (2.0.1 Patch Level 1) and then vBulletin Project Tools (2.0.0). The installation is on GoDaddy's shared Linux hosting (PHP 5/MySQL 4) and the install.php file used a value of "mysqli" for the Database Type. I've received no errors during or since the install.

I now see the Projects link in the navigation bar, but clicking on it brings this vBulletin Message:

...you do not have permission to access this page...
I'm the only forum member at this point, and the config.php file confirms that I am also the super administrator. I had no trouble getting the Blog product working after install. I haven't created any projects, all of the permissions are at their defaults and they appear to give me permission to do anything to any projects.

    Any ideas?

Try going into the project permission editor in the admin CP, clicking edit, and then saving the permissions for a group. That should force a cache rebuild.

    Does that fix it?
