Hey all
I recently purchased Vbulletin, and looking to get it up and rnning.
Ive transfered all files to my server, and now wen i type in the install/install.php after my domain name, all i get is a blank screen
Can someone tell em some simple step by step checklist or something to do?
Also, what exactly do I have to change in the original config.php.new?
Ive pretty much left it as is, I cant read/understand HTML so i a little confused.
Heres an example, is it fine to leave it as follows?
// ****** DATABASE TYPE ******
// This is the type of the database server on which your vBulletin database will be located.
// Valid options are mysql and mysqli, for slave support add _slave. Try to use mysqli if you are using PHP 5 and MySQL 4.1+
// for slave options just append _slave to your preferred database type.
$config['Database']['dbtype'] = 'mysql';
Does anybody have a simple script they can PM me, to past in that, and save it as HTML.
Cheers
Howie.
