Blog forum block inserts odd characters

Very sparsely modified Vb 4.0.3 ... mainly just stylevar changes.


Anyway, I create a blog in the usual manner. I post the blog and all seems fine.


But when viewed on the forum home using the foum block for blog entries I get the follow added code:






I've gone into the blog and attempted to edit out the line but it is not visible in the actual blog and no amount of edits seems to fix it.

Anyone have a fix for this ??

Can you try this on a default style and see if you still have the problem:
Create a new style with no parent:

• Styles & Templates > Style Manager > Add New Style
• Parent Style: No Parent Style
• Title: Default vBulletin
• Allow User Selection: Yes
• Save

Then browse the site using that totally default vbulletin style - do you still have the same problem?
