Sorry, there is no function to do this. This requires modifying the code. We cannot officially support code modifications or forums running modified code, however you can try searching or asking for help with this over at www.vbulletin.org.Steve Machol, former vBulletin Customer Support Manager (and NOT retired!)

Beside the Edit and Quote buttons, you should have a little symbol like this:
Click on that...
You may need to enable it in AdminCP > vBulletin Options > vBulletin Blog: General Options > Blog this Post

Nice. The only problem with that, is that it appears that if I click on it, the Blog is created under my name. What I'm trying to do is to move the post into a blog format under the original poster's name, not under my name. It doesn't look like that's possible with this feature.

no not possible, only you can move a post to blog, rather you posted it or not.Its a neat feature to use to continue on the topic to a blog.Comment

If you combine it with http://www.vbulletin.org/forum/showthread.php?t=177947 you can become the user for a minute, and THEN blog the post. .
What we need is a way to do the opposite, as a LOT of people seem to not GET blogs and insist on posting blog entries that are really questions that belong in the forums. ::shrug::
