    config.php settings

    hi! i've just downloaded a vBulletin Lite forum to put in my website. but i don't understand what to put in some of the settings of the config.php file!
    i have a website in [URL=http://www.tripod.lycos.co.uk]Tripod[/URL] and when running the install.php file, it doesn't connect on Step 3, just stays there saying "attempting to connect..."! what have i got to do???

    They say that they have "PHP4U" which sounds like some crap pared-down version of PHP. IMHO I don't believe vB, any version, would work with them.

      SupSuper, if you create a file with the following contents:[php]<?php

      phpinfo();

      ?>[/php]and then post the link to it here - we might be able to help you better.

        Your Database is something like that yourusername_uk_db
