Installation problem at Step 2...

When I get to this step...

-------------
Please confirm the details below:

Database server type: mysql

Database server hostname / IP address: www.wrestlepalooza.com

Database username: wrestlepalooza

Database password: ******

Database name: forum

Only continue to the next step if those details are correct. If they are not, please edit your config.php file and reupload it. The next step will test database connectivity.

Click here to continue ->

------------------------

I click here and nothing happens. It seems like it is tryng to do something... but the status bar on IE stops about 1/4 of the way across and then just stops (but acts like it is still trying). Tried using another browser too.

Any ideas?

--------
NEW INFO....

After a while I got to the "Attemping to Connect...." page and now my status is "Done" and nothing is happening.

It sounds like you're running PHP 4.2.0/1 with register_globals off. This needs to be on for vB to work. Do you have a phpinfo.php file? If not create a text file with this content:
<?php
phpinfo();
?>
Upload it to your forum directory and post the URL here.

Change CKEditor Colors to Match Style (for 4.1.4 and above)

Re:

Here is the phpinfo.php3 file

http://www.wrestlepalooza.com/phpino.php3

I think I may have found it though... I cannot get .php files to come up... I have to name it .php3.

Is that the problem? How do I fix that?

500 Internal Server Error

You need to contact your host and ask them how PHP is set up, what version that are running and what is required to get php scripts to run.

Re:

I fixed the php3 and php problem ... I will check it again to see if it will work now.

http://www.wrestlepalooza.com/phpinfo.php

Should work now.

As for the 500 Internal server error... do I still need to do that now that I have fixed the phpinfo file?
