    problem with installation

    i wanna install vb on my home-pc, i got Apache, php and mysql. When i wanna install it, it doesnt go further the first step... what wrong?

      it doesnt give an error message... it just stays at the first page when u click the -go to the first step- link

          well, the url changes everytime.... cause i cant let my i-net on for ever the ip changes... contact me on aim/msn for the updatet url...

            I get the same thing. No error message. I go to the first install.php page, click the link for step 2, get the same first page with the same link for step 2. It's like somehow it's not making any comparisons for some reason.

              Same here, except on IIS 5.1 (XP Pro)! Perhaps it has something to do with PHP4.2.1?

                Oh yeah you can try accessing it at:

                [url]www.chastan.dns2go.com/vbb/admin/install.php[/url]

                and I also have

                [url]www.chastan.dns2go.com/vbb/phpinfo.php[/url]

                which does the phpinfo() call.

                I'll try and remember to leave my computer on =)

                EDIT: Oh yeah I'm not totally sure if MySQL is working but I think it should still be able to go to the next step. A big THANKS in advance :D

                EDIT SOME MORE: 4.1.2 seems to have the same problem
