Hi,
I have a RedHat 7.2 system with PHP 4.0.6-7 and mysql
3.23.41-1 and I have vblite installed, too. It used to work
fine, but after I updated the PHP rpm's from red hat network,
my forums didn't work any more, the error message is:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function: mysql_pconnect()
in /var/www/html/vblite/admin/db_mysql.php3 on line 29
And when I brosed vbulletin forums I noticed that phpinfo();
check and it shows --without-mysql.
What are my options? Red Hat does not seem to have newer
PHP rpm's, can I get those somewhere else?
Also, I saw Ed Sullivan's post in vblite forums: "Ensure that
you have MySQL support compiled into PHP or loaded as a
module." Can I have that module with my version (4.0.6) of
PHP, and if yes how can I do that? Performance is not a big
issue, the forums are used byt a small group of users only.
